1) Enraged is the name of the team. Does it have to do with some anger management issues that have been rumoured about the team?
Anger management? Obviously we are a bunch of happy go lucky peoples that love playing paintball. Well anger is not a way to put it, but we sometimes have this random act of shouting with ourselves in the field, jump for joy for no obvious reasons and best of all our war-cry may look like we are having fits. That is the main reason behind our “Anger” in Team Enraged. We make people think we are a angry bunch of paintballers. But in all, we are just a fun group of guys and gal.
2) How was this team formed and who mooted for the idea of forming a Singapore and Johor combination?
There was already a plan to form a higher division team right after our Singapore Paintball Series 2010 Leg 2 last year. We have used many team alias from Babylon-7, Spartan in Rage or even as simple as Rage faction. In the end, January 2011, we decided to permanently name the whole team as Enraged.
Also since from the beginning we have been training with Johor teams especially Shootin’Rage (JB) and they have help us in many ways, from tactical field wise and even finding some members for us to the minor administrator side of paintball.
And all this was from the great mind of Mr Kamal Rudin aka Rudi. (a founding member of Team Seekers too)
3) Who are the sponsors of the team?
AnsGear.com an online paintball store, ERIOX an overseas based Contractor company of one of the members and Anthrax Custom, the gear that we donned right now.

4) What is the unique thing about this team?
Unique as in individuality there is a lot. But as a team, the only unique thing is that we are a very happy “angry” team. So just have fun with us and we give you our random unsuspecting action of paintball and love all into one.
5) What is the greatest achievement so far and how do you see the team in 2012?
We have yet to achieve any major achievement from the giant leagues like MYNPL, MPOC or PALS series. Since we are a newly formed team, we are still learning and experiencing the feeling of losing and winning in a balance way. Many teams go through this stages before they are someone to mess with and yes we are going through this now. But off the field, best achievement ever is to have teammates helping you in many ways that is even not paintball related, that is what we called brotherly love not just on the field but off-field too. For 2012 however, we have a great plans for the teams. This year we did our part in MYNPL. Next year all I could say is, watch out for us in MYNPL, MPOC and even all legs of SPS!
6) This is the first time that Enraged is joining the SPS. Do you have any expectation for the team? We heard that you will be giving everyone a very tough fight!
The first time joining SPS as Enraged and in the OPEN division, is something very new to us. But we will not going to give all the other teams an easy win. You go against us, try all your best and we in return, will give you guys a run for that podium spot. Expectation wise, give the SPS a good performance is all that we need.

7) Tell us more about your training schedule and how regular do you guys train?
Training wise is usually on a weekends and sometimes on weekdays is fitness training in which some of our members would just run a few laps or around east coast park or any other park for a good couple of clicks and stamina training. Regularity in training depends on the tournament or competition we be having. From as much as 4 weekends per month to as little as 2 weekends for a leisure game of paintball.
8) Give us 3 words to summarize the team.
Newbie and dangerous =) Simple as it sounds but yeah, we are those new OPEN division teams but be warned of us. Looks can be deceiving and that also tell you guys that when we are shouting or screaming doesn’t mean we are angry people, its our random act of happiness. But yeah, newbie and dangerous!! That should sum it all up.
9) What comes to your mind when you hear about the Singapore Paintball Series?
Local scene that our money can support is definitely in for us. We would of course love to see our local scene improving and much better yet be more recognized to the government and public. Singapore Paintball Series is one of such case where we can showcase how magnificent and adrenaline rush this sport is. And even by certain standard is one of the safest activities around where team building comes in places. Singapore paintball series and their organizing committee did a lot and research a lot and alas come to this stages. Having 3 international teams in their own division and yet we can have a good fight against them is what our team would love to. Exposure plus experience is what SPS leg 2 have it right now.
10) Any last words to all Singapore paintballers?
We are not yet master or elites on the field but off field wise we have a few advice for all the rest of the paintballers here and even overseas team.
- Love your teammates even off the field and even for some random outings that doesn’t involved paintball
- Never ignored or criticize your own team mates or brothers in arms. And even if you must, put it all in a good words and bring the messages forth in a positive manners.
- Attitude is all it takes. We have experience first hand in being angry and being angry does not solve anything. A table, few chairs and some snacks and drinks and positive engagement solve everything.
- And lastly to all ballers out there, be committed in whatever you do because such traits can help you in the working world, marriage life and even helping fellow paintballers.
